Evidence Pack Disclaimer & Reliance Statement — postal.ID
Evidence Packs are designed to provide an auditable record of verification events for a Case.
1. What an Evidence Pack is
An Evidence Pack may include:
- case identifiers and timestamps;
- postal job identifiers and delivery events (where available);
- digital message events (sent/delivered/failed);
- verification completion events (code presentation);
- integrity hashes and audit logs.
2. What it proves
It proves that the configured verification steps were completed (or not) according to recorded events.
3. What it does not prove
It does not:
- guarantee the Subject's identity;
- guarantee legal residence or domicile;
- guarantee the absence of fraud;
- constitute legal/compliance advice.
4. Third-party data
Postal and carrier events may be supplied by third parties. postal.ID records and normalizes these events but does not control them.
5. Customer responsibility
Customer remains responsible for decisions and compliance obligations, including determining whether evidence is sufficient for its use case.
